Regular Hours: Mon-Tues 9-2pm Weds 9-3pm, Thursday 9-1pm and Fri 9-11:30am. The LRC is a community centre offering a place for people to reconnect with their local communities. People drop in for a cuppa, or enjoy some of our organised activities such as cooking groups, material craft groups, games group, wood carving, the community workshop and Men’s shed, the community gardens and repair cafes. There are no fees to come along, and the community workers are always happy to chat and help if you are trying to find some support or information. The LRC is run by a community trust, made of community members, for the benefit of the local community. Te Whare Taonga O Nga Iwi Katoa – the house of resources for the local community.
