The Christchurch City Council is the local government authority for Christchurch in New Zealand. It is a territorial authority elected to represent the 392,100 people of Christchurch and it also includes Banks Peninsula. The Christchurch City Council have an extensive portfolio of infrastucture, projects and facilities to support the people of the city of Christchurch. There are many community and environmental organisations in Christchurch and Banks Peninsula with some amazing projects.
