Mutu began as a peer-to-peer marketplace where people could list items in their homes and garages and rent them out to others in their community – reducing the need to constantly buy and dispose of things. In 2021, Mutu was approached by some of New Zealand’s largest companies asking how they could use our software to repurpose things they no longer needed. We are now 100% B2B focused, working with some of Aoetaroa’s biggest organisations including universities, city councils and electrical distribution businesses, helping them lower their procurement cost & reduce the waste they send to landfill.
