After watching a documentary on the great pacific garbage patch, the seed was sown. Walking along Caroline bay in Timaru after a storm revealed around 4kg of plastic waste. Much of this waste had been at sea for a long time, so we set to work. Objet D’Fox, now ODF, was started in 2016 by Michael Fox after spending a year of experimenting with plastic waste as a material for product design and sculpture.
