Christchurch Green Drinks

What is Green Drinks and how does it work?

Christchurch Envirohub is the current coordinator for Green Drinks in Ōtautahi Christchurch.

Green drinks events are place-based and purpose-driven, giving us, the people of Ōtautahi Christchurch, the opportunity to hear and share stories with those already making postive changes in society.

Christchurch Envirohub will collaborate with an organisation, speaker, government representative or buisness to create a workshop/presentation. This is complimented by casual drinks, a custom quiz and conversation.

Come along and you’ll be made welcome. The team will look after you and introduce you to whoever is there. Social drinks like this are a great way of catching up with people you know and also for making new connections. Typically, everyone invites someone else along so there’s always a different crowd, making Green Drinks an organic, self-organising network.

These events are very simple and largely unstructured, but many people have found employment, made friends, developed new ideas, done deals and had moments of serendipity.

When and where is Green Drinks?

Check out the Green Drinks Christchurch Facebook page for the latest event dates and locations, as well as details of any guest speakers. These event will occur monthly.

Additionally the facebook page is an open forumn for conversation and posting.

We currently host Green Drinks at the Botanic Garden Kiosk located in the Botanical Gardens
