The Community Association exists to: To work with the Christchurch City Council, Canterbury Regional Council (ECan) and any other appropriate organisations in the development of community services in Governors Bay. To promote the provision of community facilities and services in Governors Bay and foster the overall development of the community. To represent the interests of The Association’s members in any discussions with local authorities on the maintenance of the environment and development of the amenities of Governors Bay. To carry out any activity that is deemed by the Committee to be of benefit to the Community.
