A shed brings men together in one community space to share their skills, have a laugh, and work on practical tasks individually (personal projects) or as a group (for the shed or community). The Hornby Community Centre is establishing a Men’s Shed in the Hornby area.

They have been kindly donated a 4 bay classroom by a local business and are now in the process of working with Christchurch City Council to lease some park land to site the Men’s Shed on. At this stage, they are getting a great response from within the community to get this established.
