Profile
New Zealand Salmon Anglers Association is an organisation representing the fishery in the South Island of New Zealand. Our objectives are the enhancement and protection of the salmon fishery. In conjunction with North Canterbury Fish & Game, assisted breeding practices are carried out each year including hatchery reared ova for release as fry and collecting salmon ova for fertilisation and planting out in various types of stream incubators to hatch naturally and live releases to migrate out to sea.
