Our Climate Declaration Aotearoa New Zealand owes its existence to Jeanette Fitzsimons (1945-2020), former New Zealand Green Party co-leader and MP.Our Climate Declaration is a statement of commitment. We aim for a just and sustainable post-carbon Aotearoa New Zealand. The Declaration lists our environmental and social goals. The transition to a no-growth Economy of Enough is key to achieving these goals. We stimulate debate on this new economic paradigm. We also monitor policies and hold government to account.
