Oxford Bird Rescue is a rehabilitation dedicated facility in Canterbury (NZ) for Birds of Prey. We primarily work with Little Owls and Harrier Hawks (kāhu) as they are the two main raptors in our area but we also take in Morepork (Ruru) and New Zealand Falcon (Karearea). At this stage there are no Barn owl colonies in the South Island but that is also a bird we are able to work with. As we are a small, self funded husband and wife team we do not have the resources or manpower to collect birds so we do rely on people being able to bring them to us.
