The Selwyn District is a prodominently rural area we think of being south of Christchurch. However, the Selwyn District covers approximately 6,420Km2 , follows the Rakaia River to the south and extends into Arthurs Pass. The Selwyn District Council have an extensive portfolio of infrastucture, projects and facilities to support residence living in this area.
